DIY sewing tip on shirring/smocking with elastic band. Great to make tops and dresses.
Truebluemeandyou: You know all the restyles I’ve been posting? Some of them would look better with smocking rather than just encased elastic. This is the clearest and easiest tutorial I’ve read on how to do it.
I would totally serve a nutella something on these things. They are perfect for desserts too.

DIY Wire and Pearl Knitted Cuff. Love this tutorial because instructions are given for three different types of wire and their corresponding gauges (sterling, galvanized steel and gold filled with copper core).
